“Hanging On” film features Storrington converted phone box

Storrington’s converted ‘phone box features in Hanging On, a short film about the future of the iconic pay telephone kiosk. During 2015 Storrington in Bloom volunteers worked with other local groups to refurbish the kiosk to house a defibrillator.

Amy Sargeant, a student at Queen Mary University of London, made this film as a final year project.  Interviews were carried out in the Vintage Rose Tearoom.

Many hands make light work – Clean for the Queen (and your village)

Sunday April 10th 10.00-12.00

Come and join Storrington in Bloom volunteers for a couple of hours of litter picking, weeding and general tidying. Meet at Place Villerest (opposite HSBC bank) at 10am. Bags and gloves will be supplied but please bring any tools you think might be useful (broom, fork rake etc).

Cake and drinks will be served at 12.00.  All ages welcome!
